ABOUT YOU
Reporting directly to the Retail Store Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Abiding by daily production numbers sheets to meet production targets.
Preparing pastry or bread fillings, glazing, decorating, and filling buns and pastries with cream, icing, or prepared fillings.
Designing and decorating cakes and pastry items according to customer specifications or Village Bakehouse Dubbo standards.
Operating machines that knead, cut, mould, mix, and shape dough and pastry goods, or mixing by hand.
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
Checking the quality of raw ingredients.
Ensuring display refrigerators are cleaned, polished, and fully stocked with cakes, pastries, and desserts.
Using various decorations and techniques to decorate cakes.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to abide by daily production sheets to meet targets.
Food Safety/Food Handling certification (preferred but not essential).
A passion for outstanding product development and customer service.
A creative mindset with a bright and bubbly personality.
