Overview
Oncology Unit currently has 3 experienced part‐time medical oncologists. We provide inpatient ward rounds and daily outpatient clinical services, including telehealth to regional hospitals. Our day unit is staffed by trained oncology nurses and pharmacists and administers treatments 5 days per week.
Remuneration
Remuneration value up to $456,537 p.a. comprising salary between $8,442.90 p.f. – $8,951.50 p.f. (L25–L27) or remuneration value up to $417,724 p.a. comprising salary between $7,060.20 p.f. – $8,200.80 p.f. (L18–L24); employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on‐call allowances.
Responsibilities
* Provide inpatient ward rounds.
* Deliver daily outpatient clinical services, including telehealth to regional hospitals.
* Administer treatments on the day unit 5 days per week.
* Collaborate with radiation oncology colleagues at the private oncology facility in Mackay and at the Townsville University Hospital.
* Participate in clinical trials and support expansion of clinical trial services.
