Rural Fire Service Leadership Opportunity
This role offers a chance to lead rural fire services and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.
* Lead strategic resource planning processes for your region/division and manage the effective delivery of services through best use of human, financial and capital resources.
About this role:
* As a Deputy Chief Officer, you will have responsibility for leading the planning and delivery of rural fire services in your region.
* You will work closely with the QFD Executive Leadership Team to drive key organisational priorities and contribute to the development of RFSQ's strategic direction.
Key accountabilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to improve emergency service delivery and public safety.
* Represent the interests of QFD at public forums and stakeholder events.
* Contribute to the development of RFSQ's operational plans and policies.
Mandatory requirements:
* Rural firefighting experience or equivalent expertise.
