The Information Law Team provides information law advice to the department and its portfolio ministers on Freedom of Information, AI, data sharing and its privacy functions.About usThe Information Law Team supports staff across the department by providing expert advice on the Privacy Act 1988, the Freedom of Information Act 1982, the Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022 and the secrecy provisions across our portfolio legislation.
