Occupational Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our Developmental Specialist Team to provide specialist consultation and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
* Leverage your leadership skills to support the clinical team leader, fostering partnerships and driving key performance indicators.
* Deliver secondary consultations with staff on occupational needs of infants, children, and young people, focusing on sensory processing.
* Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments through Intensive Therapeutic Services and Fee for Service programs.
* Provide clinical supervision to clinicians and students as needed.
* Contribute to training requests for staff and external agencies.
* Work systemically and collaboratively with clients, families, and care teams to achieve goals.
We seek an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about seeing young people reach their goals. You hold a Bachelor Level or Higher qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration.
Your expertise should include:
* Working with children, young people, families, and carers, with a sophisticated understanding of child development, trauma theory, attachment theory, and systemic work.
* Experience with neurodiversity and learning challenges in young people.
* Motivation to deliver best clinical practice for our children, young people, and families.
* Able to work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Skilled in providing secondary consultation and upskilling others.
* Experienced in clinical supervision.
