The Role
We are looking for an experienced General Manager within the hospitality industry to oversee and drive the operations of the business in line with the company's strategic plan. Reporting to the CEO, you will optimise the company's operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximise client satisfaction, and manage marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our hospitality venues
- Develop and implement effective operational plans and policies to optimise efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of passionate hospitality professionals, ensuring high levels of customer service and staff engagement
- Analyse key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process as a member of the senior leadership team
Qualifications
- 5 years or more in a senior operations management role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing successful strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical capabilities, with a data-driven approach
- Robust commercial acumen and financial management skills
- Thorough understanding of hospitality industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
