Personal Injury Legal Secretary Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated legal secretary to join our busy Personal Injury team in Sydney.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal support professional to work alongside experienced solicitors in a fast-paced, client-focused, and rewarding area of law.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Prepare and format legal documents, manage diaries, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, open new matters, and maintain accurate client files and records.
* Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients, medical providers, insurers, and other third parties with professionalism and empathy, assist with preparation and lodgement of claims and court documents, and keep meticulous records throughout each matter.
* Billing and Document Handling: Draft correspondence, process expenses, assist with monthly billing, compile briefs, discovery documents, and evidence bundles, and ensure secure handling of both digital and physical files.
Requirements
1. Experience: Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally in personal injury or litigation, knowledge of legal processes and documentation within the NSW jurisdiction, and familiarity with practice management software (LEAP or similar).
