Social Media Executive
to join the Stan Marketing team and execute social media campaigns from end-to-end, to drive awareness, consideration and subscriber growth for Stan. This role is a key contributor to the success of Stan's social strategy for Entertainment, from our award-winning and critically acclaimed Stan Originals and Exclusives, to our iconic catalogue of fan favourite TV shows and movies and beyond.

You'll be comfortable working outside of regular business hours when required, to support tentpole launches, events, activations, and real-time audience engagement.

This is a high-speed, high-impact role for someone who lives and breathes entertainment and understands what cuts through with fans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Produce world-class, fit-for-platform social media content for Stan Australia and other Nine properties across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, X, and other off-platform channels.
* Support Stan Australia's day-to-day social media roll out - including planning, briefing, capturing, editing, scheduling and publishing content.
* Create and edit content using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva, and other in-app tools.
* Optimise content for distribution across multiple social channels, leveraging your deep understanding of social media platform trends and best practices.
* Collaborate with a range of teams across Stan and the Nine group to support go-to-market campaigns for tentpole launches.
* Work closely with talent, influencers, content creators and external partners on a range of initiatives including social shoots, events, activations, and creator campaigns.
* Regularly monitor social conversations and trends, and proactively produce quick-turnaround, timely and entertaining content that resonates with audiences, builds community, and drives brand love.
* Use native and third-party and native social media measurement tools to monitor and regularly report on Stan and competitor social activity, in order to identify optimisation opportunities, continually innovate and evolve our output, and grow our audience.
* Ensure our social media output adheres to brand guidelines and social platform standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Minimum 3 years' experience in social media working for an entertainment publisher or brand.
* Produce social content that delivers on business goals including audience acquisition, engagement, reach and revenue.
* Deep understanding of social media platforms, audience trends and best practices across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, X, and other channels.
* Experience with third-party and native social media management, publishing and reporting tools.
* Highly skilled in content creation tools including the Adobe Suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop), Canva, CapCut, Instagram Edits, and other in-app tools.
* Proven ability to monitor social conversations and trends, and proactively produce culturally relevant, reactive content with lightning speed.
* Experience working with talent, influencers and content creators to produce authentic, personality-led content that drives audience engagement and grows reach.
* Strong eye for detail. Stellar verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write succinct, fun and engaging social copy that reflects brand guidelines.
* Proven experience managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Exposure to paid social media and audience targeting approaches.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects. A problem-solver and self-starter who is flexible in adapting to changing timelines and deliverables.
