About This Role
Delivering quality in-home care is at the heart of this position. As an Aged and Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings.
A typical day may involve assisting with personal care, domestic assistance, supported shopping, respite care, meal preparation, and social support and community engagement. We are seeking individuals who can provide consistent and compassionate care to our customers.
Hours of work will generally be Monday to Friday between 7am - 7pm, with flexibility to include weekends and public holidays as required. Shifts will be shorter in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area.
What You Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Community Services, Nursing etc.)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
* The ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
* Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
* Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willingness to obtain
* A Smart Phone
* A Current Driver's Licence
