About the role
We are seeking an experienced Plumber Project Manager with a strong background in hydraulic plumbing to oversee large-scale construction projects in Canberra. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will combine technical plumbing expertise with proven project management experience.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end hydraulic plumbing projects from design to delivery
* Supervise and coordinate plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors
* Liaise with builders, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and building codes
* Manage budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Plumbing (Hydraulic experience essential)
* Minimum 5+ years' plumbing experience + proven project management skills
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes
* Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
