The role:Our Reservations Agents at Elements of Byron are responsible for managing accommodation bookings via phone, email and online booking platforms in a courteous and efficient manner. This includes assisting with initial enquiries through to bookings via phone, email, and third-party platforms. Your strong communication skills will see you excel as you confirm individual accommodation needs and arrange pre-payments in line with resort procedures. The role also supports our Conferencing & Groups team with accommodation booking, updating guest rooming lists, and organizing special guest room requests such as amenities or welcome packs.
To set you up to succeed: You will receive structured training and be paired with a buddy to ensure you feel confident in handling enquiries independently.
The hours: Full time permanent role available working a fixed schedule from Thursday - Monday.
Ideally you will be an Australian Citizen or Resident, as this is a permanent position we are not able to consider someone on a WHV.
The shifts: 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm, 10am - 6pm
Rates: Mon-Fri $26.70, Sat $33.38, Sun $40.05
The successful candidate must be available to work the set Thursday to Monday roster.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Reservations role within a 4-5 star hotel/resort environment or an Inbound Call Centre role
* Well presented with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously
* Strong organisational skills with a clear focus on quality and standards
* Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls and email enquiries
* Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office Suite and Opera System experience would be highly regarded
* Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
* Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
