About the Role
Rober Half is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join a leading FMCG company on a temporary basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the finance team by managing financial reporting, delivering budget insights, and contributing to informed decision-making. You will bring your expertise to a business that's truly at the cutting edge of the FMCG market and help ensure smooth operations during this transitional phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare management accounts, including variance analysis and key performance indicators.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to meet targets.
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to influence strategic planning and decision-making.
* Collaborate closely with operational teams for integrated financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required during the period of engagement.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Management Accountant.
* Advanced knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and analysis tools.
* Strong familiarity with ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
* Qualification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with non-financial stakeholders.
* Proactive problem-solving approach and a keen eye for detail.
* Available to start immediately or at short notice for a temporary assignment.
