About the business/role/team
As a Project Lead, you will support the Bank's Project Manager working alongside other team members to plan, coordinate, and deliver the design, construction tender, and build activities with a multidisciplinary team of external architects, building services engineers, and consultants.
About the role
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, able to work autonomously, that enjoys variety, working across teams and contributing to the success of complex projects.
Deliver projects within the agreed parameters of schedule, budget, resources, scope, quality and benefits.
Drive the uplift of organisational project and program maturity by ensuring effective governance, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement across all aspects of project execution.
Lead and promote project management excellence by applying fit-for-purpose methodologies and structured approaches that align with internal frameworks, processes, and practices.
Apply established standards and processes to ensure project deliverables and work meet the key stakeholders' requirements necessary for final acceptance.
About you
Strong understanding of corporate and industry standards, project management tools and techniques with ability to apply them effectively.
Effective management of procurement relationships and monitoring contract performance.
Familiar with managing projects' financial position and monitoring to ensure variances are identified early
Experience building trust and confidence by engaging stakeholders at all levels proactively.
Manage, store and administer project documentation and records as required.
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in building services project delivery.
