Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for coordinating assessment and residential plans for assigned children and young people, supervising Residential Care Workers in all matters impacting the therapeutic care of children and young people, providing a high standard of therapeutic care consistent with the program objectives, and completing administrative duties including recording, computer data entry and preparation of reports.
Your work is guided by the Sanctuary Model to ensure the consistent delivery of trauma informed care to young people in Residential Care, which includes the Seven Commitments for creating safe environments. (see attached)
