CleanCo Queensland is the state’s publicly owned clean energy company, created to deliver affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for Queenslanders. With a portfolio of hydro, pumped-hydro, gas, solar, wind and storage, CleanCo is investing in new projects and partnerships to help the state achieve its renewable energy targets. Reporting to the CEO, the Executive General Manager – Asset Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across CleanCo’s generation fleet and asset base. The role is responsible for the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of hydro and pumped hydro, gas and renewable offtakes, ensuring performance, reliability and compliance. It also oversees the transition of new projects into operations, major maintenance and lifecycle planning and has responsibility for environmental stewardship and for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors and the community.
About you
You are an accomplished executive with significant experience managing operations in power generation or asset-intensive industries. You bring strong commercial judgement, operational excellence, and resilience in high-pressure environments. You are skilled at stakeholder engagement including with Boards, government, community, industrial relations partners, contractors and suppliers. You combine technical and financial acumen with a collaborative leadership style that delivers safety, performance and continuous improvement.
