Nestled amongst the stunning Torres Strait Islands in remote Far North Queensland, Tagai State College delivers high-quality education across 17 unique island campuses and an Executive Office. Spanning more than 48,000 square kilometres and serving the diverse communities of the Torres Strait Nation, our college provides a culturally rich and inclusive learning environment where strong community connections are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our vibrant school communities on some of the Torres Strait's beautiful and remote islands.
Teaching at Tagai offers a truly unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a rich cultural environment, build strong community connections, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people in remote island communities.
Our educators are more than teachers – they are community members, cultural learners, and advocates for student success.
If you're ready to embrace a rewarding teaching experience in the Torres Strait and become part of a supportive school community, we'd love to hear from you.
