We are looking for an
Executive Advisor
to join our
Risk
& Assurance
team based in
Brisbane.
Work alongside industry leaders on prominent assignments, innovative renewable energy initiatives and significant infrastructure projects. Be part of transformative change—where your ambitions find real opportunities
You will provide strategic, technical and operational guidance to clients facing complex decisions and proactively identify new product and service opportunities to meet evolving client needs. Our practice is recognised by clients as one of the leading consultancies in Asia Pacific.
The
Executive Advisor
plays a key role in the building a strong pipeline for future work .
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
* Assess market trends, identify opportunities, and convert them into successful projects, both short-term and long-term.
* Lead business development activities, leveraging internal and external relationships to promote our services.
* Respond to and provide technical direction for major tenders, bids, and initiative-taking client proposals.
* Deliver projects as Project Manager and/or Project Director
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and peers.
* Support, mentor and develop technical skills within the team and contribute to the overall success of Business Advisory
* Respond to client tenders and proposals with targeted, timely solutions.
* Facilitating client risk workshops
What you will bring to the team:
* Degree qualification in Engineering or Science related to process safety (Chemical, Mechanical preferred) or similar discipline
* 15+ years industry experience in a recognised consulting, process safety, chemical processing, resources and heavy industry, corporate or regulatory environment
* Strong history in business development and opportunity pipeline management
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
* Advising clients in multiple aspects of risk management
* Facilitation of Risk and Safety related workshops using a variety of techniques (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, bowties, FMECA, SMS)
* Development of Major Hazard Facility Safety Cases
* Provision of Technical Process Safety services
* Software use experience in PHAST, SAFETI, @Risk, PHAPro is highly desired
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Proven expertise as a technical advisor and thought leader within the industry.
* Excellent project management experience
