About The Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at Wagga Base Hospital, you will be instrumental in the development and career success of the nursing team across the areas of Emergency, Periop and pediatric units. You will be the go‐to expert for nursing education, providing engaging evidence‐based programs and support to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, in your specialist field. Drive a patient‐focused, tailored education approach that supports nursing staff to translate learning into safe, high‐quality clinical care.
Ideal Candidate Responsibilities
* Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development
* Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and TPP participants
* Promote clinical leadership, best practice and a positive learning culture
* Contribute to district‐wide education, training and policy development
* Provide unit‐based and individual education and skill support
* Delegate and support Nurses and others within scope of practice
* Maintain contemporary practice and meet CNE/CME Framework requirements
* Participate in audits, quality activities and care delivery aligned with safety standards
