About the role An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Manager to join a high-performing and collaborative Forensic Accounting team based in Brisbane. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of dispute-focused engagements, including valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, and insurance-related matters. The team primarily specialises in dispute advisory work, rather than fraud or investigative engagements. You will benefit from strong visibility across senior stakeholders, direct access to leadership, and genuine opportunities for career progression, alongside a high level of autonomy in your work. Key responsibilities Deliver on a range of forensic accounting engagements, including business valuations, commercial loss assessments and insurance-related matters Prepare detailed financial models, perform in-depth analysis, and draft clear, structured reports Analyse financial performance and provide commercially meaningful insights Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legal professionals and clients Contribute to business development initiatives and broader practice activities Typical project exposure Valuation assignments in shareholder disputes Quantification of economic loss in large insurance claims Support in class action and litigation matters Valuations in family law and estate disputes Disputes relating to sale and purchase agreements Financial analysis across multiple periods to assess potential misreporting Skills & experience Required CA, CPA or CFA qualification Experience within a professional services / public practice environment Strong analytical and critical thinking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word Preferred Experience in forensic accounting, including valuation or loss and damage reports Alternatively, candidates from audit, corporate finance, tax or business services with an interest in forensics are encouraged to apply What’s on offer Strong career progression opportunities with high visibility to senior leadership Flexible and supportive working environment Exposure to complex and high-profile disputes A collaborative and inclusive team culture Benefits include: 9-day fortnight (no salary reduction) Professional membership support and study assistance Generous parental leave policy Health and wellbeing benefits (including gym and insurance discounts) If you’re open to exploring this opportunity, feel free to apply or reach out for a confidential discussion at ludovie.aubert@edtglobal.com
