We are seeking Valuers through to Associate Director level valuation professionals who specialises in the agribusiness sector to be based in our Canberra office.
You will have valuation exposure to a wide range of rural property types including dryland and irrigated cropping, high rainfall and pastoral grazing, dairy, poultry, forestry, vineyards, wineries, horticulture, post farm gate infrastructure and water entitlements.
You will have direct access to senior leadership, a highly skilled team of valuation and administration staff, best-in-class platforms to help you deliver services that exceed client expectations, and our dedicated marketing and communications specialist will work with you to enhance your brand as an industry leader.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide the highest quality advice and valuation services possible on time and in line with clients' requirements
- Meet individual budget and assist with the preparing, monitoring and updating budgets and forecasts for the division
- Implement marketing initiatives and contribute to business development and client engagement
- Assess market values for properties, particularly within own sector / market
- Extract and appropriately analyse comparable sales evidence
- Collaborate with other service lines across Colliers and complete valuation work for mutual clients
- Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external clients
- Ongoing enhancement of internal databases
**Qualifications**:
- An Associate Member of the API and a Registered Valuer
- Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Commercial awareness of the formulation and implementation of strategy
- Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions
- Computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel, Word and Estate Master
- Ability to deal with several matters and work to deadlines
- Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Ability to effectively lead a team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Superior industry knowledge of the markets
- Demonstrate property risk awareness and adhere to and understand our in house quality assurance methodology Colliers Assure
