Overview We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our busy multi-franchise service centre in Welshpool.
You will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of our large and busy workshop, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while keeping safety at the forefront of your mind.What You'll be Doing Oversee all workshop operations and assist Fixed Operations Manager when requiredMaintain efficiency and even flow of all work performed in the workshopMonitor and ensure quality workmanship of the teamEstablish and maintain good working relationships with all departmentsMaintain a safe workshop compliant with Eagers Automotive Safety StandardsAssist the team with complex repair workTrain and mentor ApprenticesShare knowledge with the qualified TechniciansSkills and Experience Mechanical qualification in heavy commercial vehiclesPrevious experience in a similar roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvementAbility to multitask and prioritise under pressureHigh level of professionalism and attention to detailWillingness to share your knowledge and mentor the broader team of Apprentices and TechniciansAustralian working rights and HR driver's licenceBe a part of a multi-national company, where you have access to a network of opportunities across locations and brands.A Learning & Development program called Learning Together where you get access to development and training opportunities such as our partnership with AIM (Australian Institute of Management) where over 150 training courses are on offer!
