Job Title:
Event Marketing Specialist

As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in executing and promoting our events to drive attendance and engagement.
\
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for our events, aligning with core business objectives.
2. Collaborate with the wider marketing team on campaign development, execution, and optimization.
3. Work closely with event operations and commercial departments to ensure consistent messaging and promotion across all channels.
4. Brief graphic design artwork to the in-house designer.
5. Plan and schedule EDMs and partner deliverables into social media schedules.
6. Maintain and update calendars, websites, and social media pages to keep spectators and entrants informed and engaged.
7. Create, develop, and implement promotional materials aligned with marketing campaigns, including digital and print assets.
8. Develop direct email communications, including copy, build, and send through a marketing automation system.
9. Coordinate internal and external marketing channels, including owned, paid, earned, and shared media.
10. Coordinate smaller projects within overarching marketing campaigns, from development to final execution.
11. Provide post-event analysis and regular status reports on campaign results to optimize marketing strategy.
12. Liaise with key stakeholders for shared marketing campaigns, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
13. Participate in marketing strategy and planning sessions.
14. Coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders on delivery of event audio visual presentations, including communication planning and delivery of collateral.
15. Coordinate marketing deadlines through project management software.
16. Assist the Merchandise Manager in coordinating merchandise production, including timelines, ordering, and marketing.

* Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Knowledge of graphic design principles and practices.
