Overview:
The role of Financial Director is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of our business.
This position requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and sustainability.
* Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
* Budgeting: Manage the budgeting process to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
* Finance Operations: Oversee all finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
* Process Improvement: Review and improve financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Financial Documents: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and other key financial documents.
* Payroll Administration: Administer payroll for approximately 10 staff, handling straightforward wage calculations.
* Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, and PAYG obligations.
Requirements:
* CA/CPA qualification.
* Proven experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME construction environment.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of finance functions.
* Preference will be given to candidates with experience in CHEOPS.
