The Opportunity:
YNA is seeking a suitably experienced, passionate & motivated Registered Nurse leader with community experience, to support clients with complex needs living in the community. This is a part-time role (minimum 3 days per week), based from our Cairns office.
The purpose of this position is to:
* To support a portfolio of direct care clients;
* Ensure client centered, individualised care, positive client outcomes & enhance the care of clients in the community within their available budget;
* Coordinate & support the provision of comprehensive multi-disciplinary care involving assessment, prevention, referral & health promotion;
* Be a valued part of the community and clinical nurse team
* Actively attract, educate and retain health & support staff for the YNA team; and
* Establish & maintain professional relationships with staff, clients & their support network.
About You:
* Registered Nurse with relevant experience to build the capability to support complex clients living in the community
* Exceptional communication skills & attention to detail
* A passion for providing quality health care & community support
* Current AHPRA registration & unrestricted Drivers Licence
* Current Police Clearance, WWCC & Disability employment screening and other Clearances required
* Ability to coordinate & lead a team (prior leadership experience preferable)
