About the role:
BCH is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Officer to provide critical support to a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health and alcohol and other drug services across western Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating communication, managing documentation, maintaining accurate data entry, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will support the team in meeting compliance and reporting requirements. This is a key position that contributes to the overall effectiveness of the service by ensuring strong administrative foundations that support smooth and coordinated service delivery.
What you will bring to the team:
* Proven administrative experience in health or community services, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams supporting people with complex needs and diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong communication, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and the ability to work independently with initiative and professionalism.
* Well-developed written communication abilities, with high attention to detail in preparing documents, reports, meeting papers, and correspondence.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with a reliable, motivated work ethic and the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently.
* Advanced computer and data management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, client record systems, and the ability to interpret and work with program data.
