We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team as a Zone Substation Specialist Electrical Technician. This role will involve working within our Transmission Mid North Coast team, based in either Taree or Port Macquarie.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating the construction and maintenance of Zone Substations
* Installing, commissioning, and testing associated Zone Substation equipment
* Maintaining and commissioning network protection and control systems (Intermediate and Complex)
* Inspecting, testing, analyzing, and preparing reports regarding the nature and condition of Network assets to maintain quality standards
* Accessing, using, and analyzing computerized systems to operate remote equipment
* Participating in standby and after-hours duties
* Carrying out switching operations associated with both high and low voltage Engineering Services
* Operating plant and equipment associated with Zone Substations in a safe manner
Requirements
* Trade qualified Electrician with a current NSW Supervisors certificate
* Advanced Diploma in ESI Power System with preferred electives in Testing Systems or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
* Drivers License
* WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert
* Experience in installing, commissioning, and testing associated HV transmission equipment
* Experience in maintaining and commissioning network protection and control systems
* Experience in carrying out switching operations associated with Zone Substations, underground, and overhead networks
* Experience in accessing, using, and analyzing computerized systems to operate remote equipment
