We are seeking an experienced Field Technician (PC / Endpoint Audit)
to support a large health environment through structured, fully on-site endpoint audits.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring desktop, laptop, and thin client assets are accurately captured, compliant, and ready for migration across both clinical and corporate settings. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys structured work, attention to detail, and working in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct
on-site, manual audits
of PCs, laptops, thin clients, and peripherals across clinical and non-clinical areas including wards, clinics, theatres, and administration
* Physically verify and record asset details including asset tags, serial numbers, device ownership, and exact physical location
* Validate hardware specifications, operating system versions, patching status, encryption (e.g. BitLocker), and security agent presence
* Check installation and functionality of clinical and business applications
* Update asset registers and audit documentation with a high level of accuracy
* Escalate risks, faults, or non-compliance that may impact clinical operations
* Adhere strictly to privacy, cybersecurity, infection control, and clinical safety protocols while working in live hospital environments
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in desktop support, field services, or PC engineering roles
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and endpoint environments
* Experience working with asset management or ITSM platforms
* Comfortable working

in hospital or regulated environments
* High attention to detail with strong written documentation skills
* Professional, respectful approach when working around clinicians, staff, and patients
Highly Regarded
* Previous experience working in healthcare, government, or other regulated environments
* Familiarity with hospital or clinical systems and applications
* Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance standards
Requirements
* Relevant IT qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
* Willingness to comply with health service vaccination, occupational health, and compliance requirements
