The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E; installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the chance for career progression and development.
**The role**:
We are currently looking for a Project Quality Manager who’ll drive the effective implementation of quality management systems, strategies and initiatives to ensure improvements, statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements for the business.
- Ensure that JHG IMS and Digital Systems are implemented on site and educate new starters into the system
- Review all specifications to ensure all QA project deliverables required under the contract are captured and processes are in place to ensure they are achieved
- Provide quality guidance, diligence, consistency, and discipline to staff within their disciplines to ensure all quality objectives and targets are met.
- Mentor, support and provide guidance for Engineers
- Measure and analyse process outcomes and identify opportunities for delivering improvement.
- Audit Quality aspects to ensure all works are completed in accordance with the Contract
- Report on Quality Record statuses (Lots/NCRs/RFIs) and facilitate their submission to the client
- Facilitate the conduct and reporting of internal and external audits
- Facilitate completions deliverables
**About you**:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management or similar
- QMS Auditor Qualification
- Civil roads and surface works experience will be highly regarded
- 5+ years generalist quality management experience ideally within major civil $100m plus
- Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries.
- Experience in managing project QA management systems from start to completion
- Project management and leadership experience
- Risk Management practices
- Audit Management practices
