As a Salesperson at Woodward Foods Australia, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by maintaining our current customer database and driving growth by identifying new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:
* Achieve daily and weekly sales targets, focusing on both volume and margin.
* Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and client interactions.
* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Use your in-depth knowledge of the meat industry to drive success.
* Work independently while collaborating effectively within a motivated sales team.
* Identify and cultivate new customer relationships to expand the customer base.
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with customers.
* Seek and develop new protein supplier opportunities.
* Exhibit strong business acumen and a results‑driven approach.
Requirements:
* A strong background in the meat industry, particularly in wholesale carton meat sales.
* High levels of positivity, motivation and initiative.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
* A proactive sales approach with an eye for new business opportunities.
* A hardworking, diligent attitude and a can‑do mindset.
* MR Truck licence and butchering experience preferred but not essential.
