Responsibilities:
Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
Diagnose and repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment.
Demonstrate behaviors that align with company policies, organizational values.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
Keep accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and labor hours performed for billing and warranty purposes
Requirements:
Australian Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic or equivalent
Minimum 2+ years' experience
Must hold a current driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
Excellent problem-solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
Must be able to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.
