Role Purpose:

The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders and employees, aligning people strategies with unit goals. The role provides proactive guidance on HR processes and policies, ensures fair and consistent application of company procedures, drives engagement and performance, and safeguards compliance with employer obligations.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic HR Partnering & Policy Governance-

* Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to unit leadership and employees; assist managers in implementing HR processes and policies and ensure policies are understood, applied fairly, and consistently.
* Advise managers on employee relations matters and ensure ongoing compliance with employer obligations.

People Programs & Continuous Improvement-

* Suggest, develop, and own people-related initiatives and improvement processes through rollout and ongoing adherence; collaborate continuously with other HR teams on organization-wide initiatives.
* Undertake additional duties, as requested, to meet business unit needs.

Performance & Career Management-

* Ensure timely completion of performance management activities and appraisal cycles; conduct awareness workshops for employees.
* Drive adoption of career management platforms and participation in mentoring programs across the unit.

Leadership Engagement & Communications-

* Organize unit-level Townhalls and leadership programs with managers; maintain continuous communication with managers and employees on HR matters, including regular visits to client locations for in-person HR connects.

Engagement, Wellbeing, CSR & D&I-

* Plan and execute employee engagement and wellbeing programs; implement and drive Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, customizing interventions to the unit's needs.

Employee Voice & Action Planning-

* Analyze Employee Satisfaction Survey feedback and create/implement unit-level action plans.

Employee Relations & Grievance Resolution-

* Address employee grievances by engaging employees and relevant stakeholders to close cases within prescribed timelines.

HR Analytics & Reporting-

* Prepare monthly and quarterly reports/analysis on engagement programs, attrition, and timesheet management for the unit.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; MBA/PG in HR preferred.
* Prior experience in HR generalist or HRBP roles with exposure to performance management, employee relations, engagement, and HR analytics.
* Familiarity with enterprise HR platforms (performance, career, mentoring) and compliance frameworks.

Skills & Competencies :

* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; trusted advisor to leaders.
* Solid knowledge of HR policies, ER practices, and local employment compliance.
* Program/Project management capability to design, roll out, and sustain people initiatives.
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/BI for metrics, trend analysis, and reporting.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and workshop delivery skills.
* Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork across HR and business units.

Success Measures (KPIs) :

* On-time completion of performance cycles, workshops, and appraisal processes.
* Increased utilization of career management platforms and mentoring participation.
* Engagement and wellbeing program effectiveness (attendance, feedback, action-plan closure).
* Grievance resolution within SLA; quality of ER outcomes. Accuracy and cadence of HR reporting (engagement, attrition, timesheets.
