Development Engineering Consultants is a small and dynamic consulting civil engineering firm specialising in land development and general civil engineering in Western Australia.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our West Perth team. This is a senior role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality design documentation, and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive consulting environment.
The role
You'll take ownership of civil design and documentation across a variety of land development projects, with the opportunity to contribute at a senior level and support the team through strong technical delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Civil design and drafting for land development projects
* Preparation of detailed design drawings and documentation
* Coordination and management of project deliverables
* Design across earthworks, roads, drainage, sewer and water reticulation
What we're looking for
* Minimum 7 years' civil design experience in Australian land development
* Earthworks
* Roads
* Drainage
* Sewer
* Water reticulation
* High competency in 12D Model
* Strong AutoCAD competency
* Proven ability to produce accurate, detailed design drawings with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously and work well within a small team
* Permanent Australian residency or full working rights
* Advanced Diploma of Civil & Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience coordinating deliverables across multiple projects
