Founded in 1973 by a group of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, Oromax treat conditions, defects, injuries and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws and face. Oromax is one of a small number of Oral Maxillofacial practices in Australia to include both a Clinic along with a Day Hospital Surgery Centre. They ensure patients receive the highest standard of care, while also focusing on prompt and accurate communication between all stakeholders - patient, referrer and Oromax staff and surgeons. Located in Kent Town in a purpose-built facility, Oromax is the largest oral surgeon practice in Adelaide.
Oromax is seeking an experienced and capable General Manager to lead their management team, fostering and nurturing strong relationships with Surgeons and Visiting Medical Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving financial, staffing and operational objectives for the business. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading a team of over 40 people, you will inspire the teams to uphold exceptional standards of customer service and clinical care.
To excel in this position, you will possess extensive experience as a General Manager within the healthcare sector, coupled with highly effective management skills, robust financial acumen, and exceptional interpersonal communication abilities. Working closely with the Board of Directors, you will play a crucial role in preserving and enhancing the growth, efficiency and sustainability of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include delivering on the overarching business strategy, empowering the existing team to execute day-to-day operations, and managing projects to ensure a successful business.
