Optimising Project Outcomes
This role is ideal for individuals who are skilled in contract administration and have a strong understanding of project management principles. As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Management Team to deliver on contractual obligations and project objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and commercially and contractually assisting with the preparation of template documents and systems.
You will also evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes/tenders and negotiate for the most economical outcome for the organisation. All duties should be performed in a manner consistent with relevant legislation and occupational safety and health legislation along with operational procedures.
About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with excellent communication skills to join our Commercial Team. You will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Business, Accounting, or a related field and previous experience in contract administration or a similar role within the mining or mineral processing sector.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is essential. The successful candidate will also possess proficiency in professional correspondence and letter writing, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
