- Outbound Sales Consultant
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is a joint venture between ANZ Banking Group and Europe's leading payment technology company, Worldline.
We launched in Australia in early 2022, providing in-store and ecommerce payment solutions to around 60,000 Australian businesses. Since then we've built a new modern technology platform to enable an exciting roadmap of products and solutions that we began launching in Australia in 2023 and continues to develop.

**Reporting to**: SMB Sales Manager
**Opportunity**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Outbound Sales Focus**: Engage in outbound calling activities, including cold calling and following up on leads from partner referral teams, ad-hoc projects, and campaigns, to maximize sales opportunities.
- **Lead Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, handling inbound and outbound calls to optimize sales and retention.
- **Sales Conversion**: Manage and optimize the conversion rate of outbound lead engagement, ensuring a proactive approach to sales.
- **End-to-End Management**: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and high customer satisfaction throughout the journey.
- **Strategic Lead Nurturing**: Implement effective strategies for lead nurturing and management, driving new business through outbound sales initiatives.
- **Cold Calling Expertise**: Demonstrate a strong ability to initiate and conduct cold calls effectively, converting leads into sales opportunities through persuasive communication and relationship-building skills.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**: Navigate complex pricing negotiations and competitor analysis to establish profitable contracts and deals.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Risk, Onboarding, and broader SMB support teams to drive improvements, achieve and exceed targets, while adhering to ANZ Worldline guidelines.
**Key Requirements**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a proven record in sales environments.
- Proven experience in contact center operations.
- Proficiency in customer lead management and CRM usage.
- Consistency in achieving sales and service targets.
- **Demonstrated Success in Outbound Sales**: Proven track record of success in outbound sales roles, particularly in cold calling, with measurable achievements in lead conversion and revenue generation.
- Experience in working with sales conversion targets within a fintech or startup environment.
- An agile and nimble working mindset, adaptable to rapidly changing business conditions, capable of driving results in an evolving setting.

- Strong capacity to influence and manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
