The Role
We are looking for a Site Relationship Manager to join our growing team. As a Site Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with investigators and clinical trial sites to ensure high‑quality study delivery and operational excellence. You will drive engagement, support recruitment performance and resolve issues that may impact study timelines. The role is suited to an energetic, goal‑focused individual who thrives on working with medical professionals and enjoys a dynamic, travel‑based role in clinical research.
Reporting to the Head of Site Liaison, you'll be responsible for:
* Develop and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with investigators, study coordinators, and site staff to optimise site performance
* Proactively research and develop site intelligence on KOL presence and knowledge, site capabilities, country standard of care as it relates to specific patient populations, recruitment and retention
* Serve as key liaison between Southern Star, the sponsor, and sites to ensure consistent communication, transparency and alignment with study goals
* Maintain regular contact with sites through regular site visits and virtual meetings to assess satisfaction, address operational challenges and provide tailored support
* Collaborate with start‑up, clinical and project teams to ensure site needs are being met
* Contribute to feasibility assessments and site selection recommendations based on relationship insights and historical performance
* Implement recruitment plans with active sites
* Identify and partner with other internal stakeholders to develop innovative processes and technologies to increase the quality, productivity, and efficiency of Southern Star Research
To be successful in the role, we're looking for candidates with:
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare disciplines.
* A sound knowledge of clinical research and the clinical trial landscape within Australia
* Exceptional communication skills, as well as strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with clarity
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Proven ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with investigators, study coordinators, and clinical staff
* Demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
