News Corp Australia is seeking a NSW Business Reporter. This role is responsible for reporting on a diverse range of business topics including liquidations, corporate lawsuits, development projects and business profiles.
We require a proactive journalist who can network effectively with business leaders, maintain a broad range of contacts and stay informed about business movements across New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
Break exclusive business stories on liquidations, lawsuits and development.
Write engaging stories on businesses and entrepreneurs.
Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the business community.
Monitor and report on business movements and trends across NSW.
Have an extensive network of contacts.
Collaborate with the wider national business team of journalists.
Who are you?
Experience in generating your own stories and breaking exclusive stories.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
Extensive network of contacts within the business community.
Skilled with digital media.
A keen interest in business, finance, and economic trends.
