Azooa is preparing a response for RFQ G0F-26-003 – G0 Army – Fusion – Decision Support and is seeking suitably qualified contractors for a Security Solution Architect / Solution Architect & Security Advisor opportunity supporting Defence / Army enterprise data, analytics, security and decision‐support capability.
This is a senior architecture and security advisory role supporting Army G0 Fusion in the data analytics domain. The role is suited to someone who can operate across solution architecture, security advisory, enterprise data strategy, stakeholder engagement, governance and Defence‐aligned implementation planning.
Scope / Responsibilities
* Providing technical advisory services across Army's data analytics domain.
* Engaging with Defence ICT SMEs and senior management across the data domain.
* Collecting relevant information relating to data strategy, implementation and capability.
* Distilling large volumes of technical and strategic information into clear recommendations for the chain of command.
* Acting as a liaison between enterprise technical strategy, internal management and operational technical teams.
* Contributing to internal strategy and implementation planning.
* Analysing and developing the Army G0 Fusion data strategy.
* Providing SME advice on security, contemporary ICT technology and the data domain.
* Influencing Army HQ data and ICT strategy as required.
* Developing architectural patterns for the Army data domain within the enterprise ICT ecosystem.
* Advising on end‐to‐end solution design for new systems and enhancements.
* Ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and compliance standards.
* Advising on integration across existing systems and platforms, including cloud, on‐premises and hybrid environments.
* Supporting architectural governance, standards, guidelines and operating model development.

Suitable Candidates Should Demonstrate:
* Senior solution architecture, security architecture or technical advisory experience.
* Experience working across enterprise data, analytics, ICT strategy or security‐aligned architecture.
* Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate complex technical information into practical recommendations.
* Strong understanding of security, compliance and governance in Defence, government or complex enterprise ICT environments.
* Experience advising on solutions across cloud, on‐premises and hybrid environments.
* Ability to work with technical SMEs, operational teams, senior management and enterprise stakeholders.
* Experience contributing to data strategy, implementation planning or ICT operating models.
* Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare plans, recommendations and technical advisory material.
* Current or eligible NV1 or NV2 security clearance.
Highly Desirable Experience Includes:
* Defence, security, Federal Government or classified ICT environment experience.
* Experience as a Solution Architect, Security Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, Cloud Security Architect or Data Architect.
* Data analytics, enterprise data platform, data warehouse, data lake or data governance experience.
* Familiarity with Defence security controls, ISM, Essential 8 or related cyber/security frameworks.
* Experience supporting data migration, data integration, digital transformation or enterprise platform programs.
* Experience advising senior leadership on ICT strategy, risk, security, architecture and implementation options.
* Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Microsoft, Oracle, cloud hyperscalers, metadata/catalogue tools, governance tools or analytics platforms.
* Experience with Defence or government architecture frameworks and ICT operational models.
The role is expected to support Army G0 Fusion Decision Support in sustaining and enhancing enterprise data, analytics, security and decision‐support capabilities.
The role is currently structured as a 154‐day engagement. Work is expected to be performed primarily from Symonston, ACT, although remote out‐of‐state locations may be considered by the Commonwealth.
Clearance Requirements
A minimum NV1 or NV2 clearance is required for this role.
