We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to join the team at ULTRATUNE in Mittagong, NSW. As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our automotive workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality service to our customers. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to take the next step in their career.

What you'll be doing
* General Repairs and Servicing, including tyres, air conditioning, wheel alignment etc.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and other workshop staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of all repairs and servicing.
* Allocate work orders and manage workflow to maximise productivity and efficiency.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the workshop team, helping to resolve complex issues.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and labour hours.
* Liaise with customers to discuss repair requirements, timelines, and costs.
* Ensure the workshop operates in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance management of workshop staff.
What we're looking for
* Significant experience as a Workshop Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry.
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and manage a team.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
* Proven ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work efficiently under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high- quality work.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive repair and maintenance.
