Our company is on a mission to send rockets to space. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in making this happen. Your responsibilities will include preparing and conducting testing on launch vehicle systems and propulsion engine sub-systems, performing data analysis on fluids and propulsion systems, generating test procedures and maintenance plans for test stands and Ground Support Equipment, assessing technical and safety risks associated with propulsion tests, and assisting in the completion of integration activities of components sub-systems and payloads.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as aerospace, mechanical or chemical engineering.
* 3-5 years experience in the engineering industry.
* Hands-on experience testing and maintaining aerospace propulsion systems and associated ground support equipment.
* Experience with data acquisition and processing technology and software.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
* A strong enthusiasm for space technology and its application in commercialization and exploration.
* Demonstrated resilience and ability to perform in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment.
* Experience with engineering software including data acquisition and control software, product lifecycle management software, scripting and coding languages, and Microsoft Office products.
* Effective communication skills to work with various staff members including engineers, technicians, WHS officers, supervisors, and other support departments.
