We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager – Reporting & Control to lead our finance function and ensure the organisation's financial success. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is pivotal in delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will:
· Oversee financial reporting and transactional services for the Group.
· Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and contribute to M&A activities.
· Lead the preparation of annual financial reports and monthly Board packs with insightful analysis.
· Participate in long-term forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
· Manage payment processes, audits, tax, and regulatory compliance.
· Enhance financial systems, processes, and controls.
· Oversee the Group's insurance program and contribute to corporate objectives.
· Implement governance and risk management strategies.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
· Demonstrated experience in leading teams of 5-10 people is required.
About You
You will bring:
· 6+ years of commercial experience with strong technical accounting knowledge.
· Commercial experience from any sector will be considered for this position.
· CA/CPA qualification (Big 4 experience highly regarded).
· Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling.
· Financial modelling experience is required.
· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
· Proven ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, timely outcomes.
· Commercial acumen and problem-solving capability.
· Must have Australian work rights at the time of application.
