If so, then we want YOU to join our vibrant team as a Wellbeing Carer at Bupa Tamworth.
We are looking for PPT roles with most shifts from 11.30am-6pm.
Responsibilities Be the fun facilitator: help residents explore their interests, both within the care home and beyond.
From art classes and gardening clubs to day trips and movie nights, ensure there's something for everyone.Social butterfly extraordinaire: be the friendly face who connects residents and fosters a sense of belonging through activities like bingo, afternoon tea, or other social events.More than just activities: provide supportive companionship, assist with daily living (mealtimes and outings), and offer emotional support to those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.Resident champion: gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to help activities hit the mark.Team player: collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate concerns as needed.Catering crewmate: assist with plating and serving meals, adhere to food safety standards, and monitor resident preferences.Hygiene hero: follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy, safe environment.
Qualifications and requirements A heart of gold: a passion for enriching lives is essential.Can-do spirit: flexible, adaptable, and ready for a challenge.Creative spark: ideas to make every day an adventure.Excellent communication: connect easily with residents and colleagues, building trust and rapport.Team player: collaborate effectively and support others with a positive attitude.Experience: Previous experience caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.Certifications: Current Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support, or willingness to complete; First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Driver: Australian driver's licence.
