$140,000 - $150,000 + Super + Allowances (based on experience)
Our Client
Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well established national business operating in the industrial and B2B sector to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager. This is a senior leadership opportunity with responsibility for leading a high performing sales team.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role is focused on driving sales performance, developing people and implementing sales frameworks across a geographically diverse portfolio. You will lead and develop a team and be responsible for driving accountability, consistency and performance across the region, while maintaining strong relationships and a positive team culture. This is a leadership focused role rather than hands on selling.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of Account Managers
* Driving sales performance and accountability across the region
* Implementing sales and capability frameworks with flexibility in execution
* Providing clear guidance, direction and performance feedback
* Building strong relationships while confidently managing expectations
* Supporting regional teams through regular site visits
* Contributing to broader sales strategy and continuous improvement
Requirements for Success
* You are a confident and capable sales leader who enjoys developing people and driving results.
* You are comfortable having performance conversations and setting clear expectations while maintaining strong relationships.
* You will bring experience from B2B sales leadership with people management experience OR Regional or multi-site retail management.
* You are commercially minded, adaptable and comfortable working across metro and regional environments.
