About the Role

We're on the lookout for a People & Culture Specialistwho leads with heart, purpose and authenticity. Someone who believes that the best way to bring out the best in others is to be the best version of yourself.

As part of our dedicated Executive Leadership Team, you'll guide and support people across all four venues. You'll champion culture, connection, leadership, and care – all while working alongside a supportive Board and Management team who want nothing more than to help you and your people succeed.

This is not a typical HR role. This is a mission– to grow and empower an already phenomenal team of people who truly care like no one else.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the club's vision and business goals.

Manage the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance and training.

Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and staff, providing guidance on policies, people, and culture.

Support payroll and benefits programs.

Drive employee engagement and champion our values of Respect, Communication, Adaptability, Trust & Integrity, Reliability & Accountability, and Fun.

Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal governance standards.

Support the rollout and optimisation of HR tech platforms (Tanda and Xero preferred).

Partner with the team to advance community, wellbeing, and sustainability initiatives.

Cultivate a workplace where every person feels they belong and can thrive.

Promote our commitment to Domestic Violence awareness, education, and action.

Skills and Experience

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.

Proven experience in a People & Culture or HR leadership role (Hospitality/Club sector ideal).

Strong understanding of employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practice.

Demonstrated ability to build genuine relationships across all levels of an organisation.

Experience supporting diverse, multi-site workforces.

Hands-on knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (Tanda/Xero highly regarded).

You're someone who leads with empathy, listens with intent, and inspires through action.
