Operations Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating drivers and driving operations across Australia.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the coach, transport, and logistics industry, as well as experience in logistics or transport roles. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, sound communication skills, and a strong customer focus.
* Main Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for Coach Captains
* Solving problems and escalating where appropriate
* Coordinating support services for breakdowns, injuries, and other situations
* Making decisions on routes and passenger changes
* Managing compliance with legislative requirements
* Logging all reported incidents
* Checking and filing driver logbooks and pre-departure paperwork
* Monitoring and changing rosters
Requirements:
* Knowledge of the coach, transport, and logistics industry
* Experience in logistics or transport roles
* Completion of fatigue management strategies training
* Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
Working Hours:
This role operates on a rotating roster of 4 days on and 4 days off. Shifts are 12 hours long and include day and night shifts, rotated equally throughout the team.
