We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager and Supervisor to lead our drilling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from safety and production through to client relationships and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist with the development of detailed plans, resource schedules, and timelines in alignment with client and business requirements
* Provide leadership and direction to Site Supervisors and project personnel
* Promote a positive, performance-driven culture aligned with company values
* Ensure WHS standards are maintained across all projects, being accountable for complying with WHS site and legislation requirements
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle
* Attend client meetings, provide progress updates, and address issues proactively
* Foster strong, long-term relationships through consistent communication and delivery performance
* Oversee project paperwork and ensure timely submission of required documentation including site audits, stock control
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in project supervision or management
* Strong understanding of the UIS drilling processes or underground coal mining operations through previous experience with UIS drilling operations
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships and networks on site
* Excellent written and oral communication and reporting skills with the ability to professionally and effectively negotiate as a representative of the company
* Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety – BSB*****
* Previous experience in meeting contractual obligations, including meeting production targets and tasks
