St Andrews Beach Golf Course is one of Australia's premier pay-to-play golf courses and was recently ranked 14th in Golf Australia's Top 100 Courses.
The venue is managed by Golf Services Management (GSM) on behalf of a private owner. Located in the famous Cups region of the Mornington Peninsula, the course was designed by internationally renowned architect Tom Doak.
The Role
GSM is seeking a Casual General Maintenance Assistant to support the ongoing upkeep, cleanliness, and presentation of facilities at St Andrews Beach Golf Course.
This role focuses on general maintenance, presentation, window cleaning, and basic pest management support, making it ideal for a practical, hands-on individual looking for a small number of consistent hours each week.
Key Responsibilities
* General maintenance and upkeep of clubhouse and facility areas
* Window cleaning across clubhouse and amenities
* Basic pest management tasks, including monitoring, reporting, and setting approved traps or deterrents (no chemical application unless authorised)
* Minor repairs and presentation touch-ups (fixtures, fittings, furniture)
* Basic painting, patching, and cleanliness-related tasks
* Assisting with preventative maintenance checks
* Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues
* Maintaining clean and organised storage and work areas
* Supporting overall venue presentation and safety standards
(This role does not require trade qualifications.)
About You
* Practical, hands-on, and comfortable with routine maintenance tasks
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Able to work independently and follow clear instructions
* Safety-conscious with good attention to detail
Previous experience in general maintenance, cleaning, or facilities support is beneficial but not essential.
