Role overview
In the role of Test Analyst - Automation Selenium, you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will also involve leading test execution and defect management. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. You will mentor and guide the team members, and contribute to creating solutions and approaches for QA for our customers.

Qualifications and Experience
Academics and Work Experience requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 4-8 years of experience with Information Technology.
* Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Salary
AUD 82,544 – 90,270 (Annual Gross).
Must Have Skills
* Strong experience in UI, API automation using Selenium (Java) and Playwright with Rest Assured and Postman to develop and maintain automation frameworks/libraries and tools.
* Good understanding and experience in creating robust automation frameworks that are reusable and easily maintainable.
* Experience in API automation testing.
* Ability to independently create, execute, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks.
* Experience in BDD/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity and Playwright-BDD.
* Experience in scripting/development (Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.).
* Experience with code coverage tools like JaCoCo, JSCover, SonarQube, etc.
* Experience with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, etc.
* Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
* Experience with version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
* Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally, etc.
* Ability to lead a distributed automation testing team (onshore/offshore).
* Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have Skills
* Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML in QA.
* Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their adoption in enterprises.
* Experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile to provide fit-for-purpose solutions for clients.
Preferred Skills
* Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML in QA.
* Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their adoption in enterprises.
* Experience with Cloud migration testing (AWS or Azure).
