About Connecting the Docs
Connecting the Docs is an innovative partnering programme designed to shape the future of Victoria's medical workforce by placing and retaining the right doctors in the right communities at the right time. Established in 2023 in response to the medical workforce crisis in regional and rural Australia, we partner with health organisations across rural and remote Victoria to create sustainable medical workforce solutions whilst supporting practitioners and their families to settle and connect with their communities.
We are committed to being innovative, responsible, neutral, and responsive, with a focus on putting people first. We understand the importance of work-life balance and are adaptable to your needs.

We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced GP Training Supervisors, who are Vocationally Registered GPs seeking to take on temporary and permanent positions in regional Victoria. * Work with our network of partner health services including Echuca Regional Health, East Wimmera Health, Kerang District Health, Mallee District Aboriginal Health, Mildura Base Public Hospital, Northern District Community Health, Swan Hill District Health, and expanding partners across Gippsland
* Contribute to primary care education and GP training in underserved regional communities
* Build sustainable, innovative approaches to vocational training within regional general practice
* Maintain and develop your own clinical practice whilst leading registrar development
* Access skilled case management and comprehensive support from Connecting the Docs to help you navigate your new environment and settle into your community
