Key Responsibilities
The Head Teacher Administration will:
* Lead and manage complex whole‐school administrative systems.
* Maintain highly developed organisational skills, managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and coordinating whole‐school operations.
* Demonstrate leadership skills with the capacity to build staff capability, manage change and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate as a key member of the executive team to implement the School Excellence Plan and achieve measurable improvements in student growth, attainment and post‐school pathways.
* Support teaching and learning initiatives through the design and delivery of quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality inclusive programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
Specific Selection Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualifications for this position, including: demonstration of capacity to lead and manage complex whole‐school administrative systems; highly developed organisational skills; excellent leadership skills; ability to work collaboratively as a key member of the executive team to implement the School Excellence Plan and achieve measurable improvements.
Conditions
Unconditional full approval to teach is required. If you do not hold full approval with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the approval process at the time of applying.
Benefits
Total remuneration package valued at $168,946.00 (base salary $149,059.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation).
